Hi! I’m Tiffany Thornton.
I help founders and team leaders build teams that communicate clearly, grow confidently, and perform at their best.
Over the course of my career, I’ve stepped into complex environments where teams were under pressure, communication was breaking down, and expectations weren’t fully aligned.
In those moments, the problem usually isn’t lack of effort or talent.
It’s lack of clarity.
When people aren’t sure what success looks like, why it matters, or how to move forward together, even the most capable teams start to struggle.

What is The SHINE Cycle™?
The SHINE Cycle™ is a people-centered leadership framework that helps teams learn faster, communicate clearly, and move through the natural stages of team development with intention.
It draws on well-established research, including the work of Bruce Tuckman and his widely taught model of team development. Where Tuckman explains how teams evolve over time, The SHINE Cycle™ gives leaders a repeatable set of actions that help teams move from one stage to the next.
Each step of SHINE acts as the bridge that allows a team to progress forward. They are:
✦ SEE – Modeling the what. Clarity comes from being able to visualize success.
✦ HEAR – Explaining the why. Deeper commitment stems from understanding purpose.
✦ INVOLVE – Guiding the how. Innovation and improvements arise from participation.
✦ NURTURE – Support the who. Psychological safety is born out of genuine encouragement.
✦ EVALUATE – Determine the when. Review what you will and won’t be continuing.
