This is where we’re going to explore a simple idea:
That The SHINE Cycle™ doesn’t just live in classrooms, team meetings, or training environments. It shows up anywhere humans are learning, growing, struggling, and figuring things out together.
And one of the clearest places to see that?
Stories.
Not because they're simple, but because they let us experience something before we're asked to understand it.
So each week, we’ll take a familiar movie... something you’ve likely seen, maybe even loved... and look at it through a different lens. Not just what happens. But why they happen. What things work. Where things fall apart. And what it reveals about how people actually move from friction into flow.
Because when you start looking at stories this way, something interesting happens. You stop seeing them as just entertainment. And you start also seeing them as blueprints. Blueprints for leadership. For communication. For growth. For learning the exact moments where things stall... and what allows them to move again.
How This Will Work
This isn’t going to be a bunch of one-sided breakdowns. You’re a part of this.
So here’s the rhythm we’ll follow each week:
Midweek: I’ll share a short list of movies I’m considering
You vote: to decide what we explore next
Friday: I’ll announce the winner
Monday: The full SHINE breakdown is released
